From last week ( Week1 of PCT)

PCT is peace corps training, and we're PCT's also: Peace Corps Trainees.

Our language clasa are broken down into 4-6 people per a clasa.

My clasa comprised of: Julie, Matt, Neil, and of course myself.

Our professor (profesoara; it's the feminine word) was Elena, and here are examples of verbs we got to conjugate. She's really cool, I got to talk to her and her BF Saturday night about life in Romania.

This bracelet thing is something guys and boys give girls and moms for the first of March. Um..this is a bracelet, and I also got another smaller tassel to wear on the breast of my shirt. It's to celebrate the first of spring...ish.

On Friday [vineri], last week, we also started mini projects, called Practicums. We got into groups, and we're going to work with organizations around the city we live in for 7 weeks to achieve a few things: to help them organize a program, and to gain experience and to observe our strengths and weaknesses before we go off into our individual sites.

Here are pictures of us traveling to our Practicum sites. In my group is Erika, Janet, Neil and Myself (Cynthia). We have a great gruop, in my personal opinion. That hot guy there is Samuel [Sam-well], he's one of our Romanian teachers. To the woe of us single girls here at PST, he's unfortunately engaged already. Aww. (Not that we can have any relationships between our professors or each other, it's against the rules).

Today it is snowing small hail, like freezing rain. cool!
