Well, I was going to go to ______, but got uninvited because there were too many people going. Therefore Erica and I decided to go to Sinaia last weekend. Other people heard about it and wanted to come with us. What started with 2 people ended up being 12. We did split up into groups when we got there so it was easier to move around. It was cold and wet, but good exercise and a fun adventure.
The best thing was that Erica and I had planned to go together, but we ended up in different groups so I only saw her after the whole trip was over.
Oh, and my gazda mom made a hassle of me eating a good breakfast before I left so I missed the train, and I caught the next train 30 minutes later. Surprisingly, I ended up in Sinaia only 5 minutes after the others had arrived because I took a more expensive and therefore faster train.
It wasn't all that expensive of a trip, but due to the amount we make....it was small chunk out of my salary.
I want to travel more, but we'll have to see.
Oh! Taking trains in Romania/Europe is easy and not that expensive. From cheap to expensive: P, A, R, and IC. I took the A going there, and the P coming back.
The A train has compartments just like in Harry Potter, the P train is a compartment with polyester seats and semi shady people.
