Flat Evan

This is a project my god-brother Evan is doing. It's a flat picture of him and I took him around with me yesterday evening, when I got him and took pictures of him around Romania. I took pictures with him this morning today too.

Buna! (which means "hello!")

We eat lots of bread here in Romania, so here is Flat Evan eating breakfast.

At school he learns the Romanian alfabetul, which is similar to the American alphabet but it has a few extra letters like "s" with a tail "t" with a tail and "i" and "a" with a happy face hat and another "a" with a frowny face.

Here is flat Evan next to Ploiesti, which is the city that his friend Cynthia is staying right now to train to be a Peace Corps volunteer. Here is him next to a poster the students at the elementary school here made for Earth Day with the Peace Corps volunteers.

Flat Evan got a McDonalds happy meal in Romania for lunch.

Here is Flat Evan watching Cynthia use a computer at the mall, because malls in Romania usually have internet available. Not all houses have internet here, and Cynthia's house does not have internet.
There is a clothing store here called Time Out. Here is Flat Evan taking a bus ride home because Cynthia does not have a car in Romania.

There are lots of Churches in Romania and most people here are Greek Orthodox.

Flat Evan is recycling. Hurray for him!!!

Here is a puppy Flat Evan found. He does not have fleas so it is okay to pet him. Good night Flat Evan!!
