So it was Winter when I came back to my site. It snowed a couple times and there was ice and chilling winds...
OK. I realize there are cold places in the US too: Chicago...Maine, Colorado..But, from midcoast CA, we don't get this weather. It isn't too bad actually....with all my layers (shirt, sweatshirt, big jacket, tights under pants, and 3-4 socks per a foot, plus scarf, gloves, and ka-choo (excuse me: beanie), I don't feel the cold too badly.
Then...it became Spring again for 2 weeks,
and I wore less socks, and only 1 layer of pants...and as the snow seeped into the earth, the animals were able waddle out of the courtyards to shake their tussies as they swam in the lakes and ponds.
And then it became Winter again...but this time I was ready with my camera =) Pretty?
But I don't know if we'll see another one this Winter. Did you know? it has to be warm to snow?
Look, they can walk on water too!
